Apart from our specialist area of work in the field of ceramics for building, we occasionally work on projects that involve making in other materials, or sometimes projects dealing with ceramic objects that have nothing to do with building. Many of the traditional techniques and processes that are used in the making of ceramic works can be applied to produce work in other materials. Apart from traditional plaster moulds and blocks, there are a large range of alternative materials available, and we have a good deal of expertise in their use and various applications. Hemihydrate and flasking plasters, fiberglass, resin, Isopon, silicone, latex, and hot melt rubbers, have all been used by us for large and small projects.

So below is a selection of works not made from clay and some clay objects that may not have a lot to do with building.  Click on any image to learn more or get in touch.
